Bug or Problem

Hi,

i think there is a bug in this version. After 1 1/2 -2 Hour Playtime the Game Crash and this Problem is not only on Clientside. On dedicatet Server there is the same Problem. I think is a Problem with some Addon. When the Addon was use first time the Game crash! Have one of you the same Problem?

Kusi be shure you placed new config file (totalyugowar.pbo) from 19.09.2006 inside @totalyugowar/addons/ folder
There are 2 missions packs ,one needs @totalugowarUpg1 another doesnt so be shure you run right missions and have installed right config.

Please be more specific what you was playing and on what side so i can start to look for bug

Hi,

i played with the new config and the missions for this. (Upgrade1) I played on West side and when the Game run 1 -1 1/2 Hour there come a error and the game crash. But i can't say you the Error the Game crash too fast and i was on my Desktop! But i think is a Problem with some Addon.

hi again,

i found a other bug/error. When you build a B-52 and this was crash on the map and you make cleanup Ground near this you become a permanently error message for the rest of the Game Time. The message was no cargo or so

he means server crashes. like when everythink on map just freezes up like runing on spot like a server crash but the server dont red box but you can see it on ofp watch saying playing but really its crashed and it wont even be listed on game spy and if u would try to connect to server from ofp watch u wont connect. then everyone just leaves and server is stuck on playing with 0 players

i seen this many times with different type of addons. it happens on the new wgl beta and last nite i saw the maxim server on ofp watch saying 2players on it but really it had crashed

new 7 crCTI 1.0rc @totalyugowarUpg1 v2 cfg1909 missions available on maxims server for testing

changelog:

-east tanks prices lowered (...t80UE=3500 ,t90=3800)
-east sa13 cost 3000(4000 before),west adats 4000(4500 before)
-east mhq bmp ambulance again
- 2 variants of k-50 added to east side
- strategic bombers: tu-22(3 AT) cost 12000 , b52(84 Bombs) cost 25000
- 1 flag replaced on goslar island hopefully no more flag bug
- east ICP VSS wepons (with buged balistics) replaced with VIT VSS one
- rpg-2 and osa removed from east side
- some fixes in ai co production
- diffrend skins sqaud leaders added to both sides

hiho

Cleaning up ground with certain things makes Server Crash

East needs the Dragon as well :shock:

and the F16 Sead is totally out of Order because it finishes the game with 1 drop of the Bombs it totally wrecks the base

AI don’t shoot at planes

there is sum bugs i what i found
building US Delte type soldiers causes tahat error msg :DBg:error:_unit is null in msgUnitbuild.sgs for type 14/US delta (S) light mG and so on with delta units.
and that b52 bomber has a tailgun and when that b52 is destroyed and it dissapear then u got No cargo msg but the tailgun is still up in air sumwhere and it is undestroyable.agree with schotte about dragon launcher and F16 Sead is strong it can be but this thing must cost lot more.and i notest when ai is hurt like bad legs then the fps is going down.

ou edit: server wil probably crash when u get b52 as agunner and try to open hmm what was that bombhatch :?:

Final Configuration file features,changelog:
-All tanks weapons,main gun power,speed,reload time,ammo - more balanced
-Tanks armor reduced - better chance for infantry to destroy tank
-Dragon missile less powerfull - t90 shoud be heavy damaged but not destroyed after 1 hit
-AA missiles in static,and vehices shoud have better chance to hit air units
-Aircrafts speeds reduced - more balanced
-Mig29 with AT missiles added to east
-mi26 can carry more passangers
-Strategic bombers B52 and Tu22 tailguns and gunner positions removed - hopefully no more B52 "no cargo" message bug
-BMP2 upgraded to BMP2e with new guns and atgm konkursm1 launcher
...
Mission changes:
-Cleanup ground disabled - removing addons wrecks coused crush of server
-All light transport cars,apc's,aircrafts,helicopters,planes carring ammo
-west F-16 SEAD with deadly cluster bombs Mk20 cost 40000
-defaut weapons loadout at launchers replaced with more powerfull ones
...

Can you make 1 single file to download that contains both totalyugowar and upgd1? This split into several files does not work really always one archive is fucked up. Into a seperate files then the config modifikations and missions.

Sorry Schotte, that link is not working or the server is overloaded.
If you could host that thing somewhere where I could DL it I would ftpsync it and host it at gs.bofh.at. That would offload yours.

so mates, after that short intro into this modded crCTI I suggest to make copters at least more expensive. The hit probability of both AA-AI and AA vehicles is low.

@Igna:

so following needs to be fixed in my opinion:

- as usual, if there is lots of action during base attack, the troops in and arounds the base doing almost nothing, AA soldiers, SA-xx, all that is useless or at least performing so much less then in RL that it is pointless. In our last night fight I pumped out AA soldiers like hell and they released one fish after the other - copters almost never hit, and if, they can digest it easily - not RL.

- generic to cti objects or OFP: The blast goes through the walls and damage what's behind, that is not RL, blast comes only inside when wall is destroyed. Dunno how this can be avoided.

- equipment must be more expensive, what helps all the nice features - walls, camo nets, transport vehicles, tugs, - if the common successful strategy is: build masses of tanks and rush! and if you have half of the towns or even less you can buy copters like hell.

I mean military ASSETS are not treated like that here. So more expensive units and equipment or less cash for towns and longer building times and 30-60s respawn time and we have it.
